Margaret was born in 1756 in Little Bolton and her christening took place on December 17th, 1756 in Bolton.1  Margaret's father was James Lomax and her mother was Ann Haslam. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, James, John, Richard, Alice, Sarah and Alice.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
