William Langshaw (Lankshire)

William was born in 1833 in Wigan and his baptism took place on May 26th, 1833 at All Saints (Wigan).¹

William's father was Roger Langshaw and his mother was Alice Atherton. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named William, Ann, Jane, Martha, Elizabeth and Alice.

- 29 Oct 1855 William Langshaw "Lankshire" (22), a collier, son of Robert a carder married Alice Ashcroft (20) of Scholes. William couldnt sign his name and he may be having a play on names. The witnesses were Richard and Mary Derbyshire!
