Ann Jones

Ann was born on September 29th, 1830 in Wepre and her baptism took place on October 24th, 1830 in Hawarden.¹

Ann's father was Richard Jones and her mother was Rachel Bennett. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Elizabeth Millington. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Joseph, Rachel, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Alice. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.

General Notes
- In 1841, Ann was not with her family. She was with her sister Rachel who had just married William Edwards.
  
  In 1851, Ann (21) was a servant at Caerfallwch, Northop.
  
  Ann married Peter Manifold (1830-1889), a joiner, at Bolton in 1852. Her father was Richard Jones a Sea Captain (but a long way from the Sea in Bolton).
