Ann "Haslan" was born about 1841 to 1843. There were 9 Ann(e) Haslam births in Bolton over this period. However, none have a common Mothers Maiden Name with her sister Elizabeth's births (so probably adopted half-sisters and Elizabeth is probably from Mary's previous marriage).
Ann was born and baptised in 1842, after her father Richard Howcroft had died. Her mother Mary remarried and Ann was probably brought up be her grandparents.
