Ellen Holt

Ellen was born in 1780 in Bolton and her baptism took place on September 10th, 1780 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Ellen's father was John Holt and her mother was Alice Haslam.  Her paternal grandparents were Peter Holt and Elizabeth (Betty) Howarth. She had two brothers and a sister, named Peter, Titus and Betty.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 62 in August 1842 in Bolton.  She was buried on August 3rd, 1842 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
