Betty Holt

Betty was born on July 16th, 1725 in Turton.  Betty's father was Ralph Holt and her mother was Mary Taylor. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Ralph, John, James, Thomas, William, Jane and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eight known children.  She died at the age of 87 in April 1813 in Tonge-with-Haulgh.  She was buried on April 24th, 1813 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

‌Betty and George were married in a religious ceremony on December 26th, 1749 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²   They had a son named Samuel.
