Henry was born in 1832 in Malpas and his baptism took place there on July 1st, 1832.1  Henry's father was John Hinton and his mother was Mary Battarbee.  His maternal grandparents were George Batarbee and Mary Richards. He had two brothers and a sister, named Richard, James and Jane.  He was the youngest of the four known children.  He died at the age of 1 in August 1833 in Malpas.  He was buried on August 18th, 1833 in Malpas.2
