Horace was born on September 29th, 1907 in Chester.¹ Horace's father was Thomas Grace (Gore) and his mother was Bertha Colehill. His paternal grandparents were William Gore and Mary Grace. He had two brothers and a sister, named Frank, Gary and Marjorie. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 79 in July 1987 in British Columbia.
