Robert was born on July 6th, 1891 in Wavertree.¹

Robert's father was William Gore and his mother was Mary Grace. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Gore and Ellen Jeffs Lusty. He had four brothers named Thomas, George, William and Alfred. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 33 on December 15th, 1924 in Toronto. His burial was on December 18th, 1924 in Toronto.²

- On 30 July 1913, William and Robert Gore (25 and 22) sailed with their parents to Quebec, Canada on the Virginian, Allan Line.
