John (Jack) Foulds

John, known as Jack, was born in October 1826 in Bingley and his baptism took place on October 11th, 1826 in Bradford.¹²

Jack's father was Thompson Foulds and his mother was Rebecca (Becca) Wells. His paternal grandparents were William Foulds and Hannah (Ann) Wild. He had two sisters named Mary and Martha. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Ann. He died before 1887.

- John was possibly the son of Thomas Foulds, a cabinet maker of Bingley and Elizabeth. If so, he had an older brother William b 9-Nov-1821 who was also a joiner and cabinet maker.
  
  Born in Bingley in 1827 (if 1871 census is correct).
  
  In 1841, John (14) was living at Barriage Street, Bingley, son of Thompson Foulds, a carrier.
  
  Cant find on any 1861 or 1881 census.
  
  John and two of his sons (John Thompson Foulds. and another) came to the USA. They settled in Texas, but I can find no information about the death of John (Jack) Foulds.
