John was possibly the son of Thomas Foulds, a cabinet maker of Bingley and Elizabeth. If so, he had an older brother William b 9-Nov-1821 who was also a joiner and cabinet maker.
Born in Bingley in 1827 (if 1871 census is correct).
In 1841, John (14) was living at Barriage Street, Bingley, son of Thompson Foulds, a carrier.
Cant find on any 1861 or 1881 census.
John and two of his sons (John Thompson Foulds. and another) came to the USA. They settled in Texas, but I can find no information about the death of John (Jack) Foulds.
