Alice's father was John (Jack) Foulds and her mother was Maria Watmuff.  Her paternal grandparents were Thompson Foulds and Rebecca (Becca) Wells. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Israel, William, Martha and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 1 in August 1857 in Keighley.  She was buried on August 16th, 1857 at All Saints (Bingley).^2 3
