Priscilla's father was John Edwards and her mother was Eleanor Birch.  Her paternal grandparents were William Edwards and Hester Tomlinson. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Henry, William, Eleanor, Mary, Elie, Amelia and Cornelia.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 23 in June 1850 in Ruabon.  She was buried on June 24th, 1850 in Ruabon.¹
