Jane was born in 1799 in Holt and her baptism took place there on February 24th, 1799.¹

Birth Notes

Jane's father was Charles Edwards and her mother was Elizabeth Tomlinson. Her maternal grandparents were John Tomlinson and Elizabeth Tinslay. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles, John, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth and Ann. Jane and Ann were twins.
