Charles' father was Charles Edwards and his mother was Elizabeth Tomlinson.  His maternal grandparents were John Tomlinson and Elizabeth Tinslay. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Jane and Ann.  He died at 11 months old in December 1803 in Holt.  He was buried on December 17th, 1803 in Holt.¹
