Elias Edge

Elias was born in 1812 in Bolton and his baptism took place on April 4th, 1813 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Elias' father was John Edge and his mother was Lettice Mather.  His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane (Jennet) Partington. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Allias, Adam, Hannah, Ann and Jenny.  He was the second youngest of the six known children.  He died at the age of 74 in October 1886 in Bolton.²
