Jane was born in March 1853 in Wrexham.1  Jane's father was Ralph Eddowes and her mother was Jane Davies.  Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Eddowes and Abigail Blythen. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Ralph, Harriett, Caroline, Emma, Ellen and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died in Colorodo (CO).2
