James Duckworth

James was born in March 1870 in Edgworth.¹

James' father was James Duckworth and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Mather. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Elizabeth (Betty) Marsden. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Sophia and Rebecca. He was the youngest of the five children.
