Allan's father was Joseph (Joe) Dodd and his mother was Margaret Grieves. He had a brother and a sister, named Brian and Valerie. He had two half-sisters named Edna and Pat.  He died at the age of 75 on July 14th, 2016 in Tattenhall.² 

‌Allan and Barbara were married in a religious ceremony on June 24th, 1961.³   The family line is yet to be completed.
