Margaret was born on August 31st, 1907 in India and her baptism took place there on September 23rd, 1907.1 2  She died at the age of 81 in September 1988 in Birkenhead.

      Death Of Mr. J. Dodd
      Mr. Joseph Dodd, who was Chairman of the Ellesmere Port U.D. Council in  1940-41, died at Clatterbridge hospital on Saturday.  He was 63.
      Mr. Dodd, a native of Widness, bacame licencee of the 'White Lion,' Childre Thornton, in 1924, and moved to the 'Royal Oak,' Bromborough, 1940.  When the 'New Royal Oak,' was opened in 1958 he returned to the 'White Lion.' Since that time, however, he had been in failing health, and the licence was transferred to Mrs. Dodd.
      After serving on the Wirral U.D.C., Mr Dodd was elected to the Ellesmere Port U.D. Council as Childer Thornton's representative in 1934.  When he moved to Bromborough he served for a time on the Bebington Council.
      Mr Dodd is survised by his wife, two sons and and three daughters.
      The funeral took place at Hooton Parish Church on Wednesday.

‌Margaret and Joe were married in a religious ceremony in June 1939 in Hooton.3  They had two sons and a daughter, named Allan, Brian and Valerie.  There are no more children.
