Christian was born in 1788 in Malpas and her baptism took place on January 13th, 1788 at St. Chad (Farndon).1  Christian's father was William John Dod-Hopley and her mother was Hannah Hopley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Randle, Robert, Robert, Rebecca and Anne.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 5 in 1793 in Malpas.  She was buried on June 7th, 1793 in Malpas.
