Anne's father was William John Dod-Hopley and her mother was Hannah Hopley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Randle, Robert, Robert, Rebecca and Christian. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 61 in June 1846 in Everton. Her burial was on June 23rd in Everton.²
