Wilhelm (William) Heinrich Dittmer

Wilhelm, known as William, was born in December 1884 in Liverpool.¹

William's father was Johann (Chris) Heinrich Christoph Dittmer and his mother was Katharina (Margaret) Margretha Magdalena Heuer. His paternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich Dittmer and Katherina Marie Magdalene Kuhlmaun; his maternal grandparents were George Heuer and <unknown>. He had six brothers and four sisters, named George, Fred, Henry, Chris, John, Charles, Mary, Margaret, Lizzie and Catherine. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named George and Doris or Dora. He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Drowning, at the age of 34 on October 14th, 1919. His burial was in October 1919 in Kirkdale.²²

- In 1901, Wilhelm married Margaret Ann Houghton at St Thomas Eccleston, St Helens.
  
  There is a birth record and he's on the 1891 census (aged 6), but cant find any Wil* Ditt* anywhere in UK. However, there was William Augistin Dittmer (1881-1950), son of John, who died at 3 Stanley Street, Liverpool, aged 69 and buried at Everton.
