Peggy Cunliffe

Peggy was born in 1804 in Great Harwood and her baptism took place on March 18th, 1804 in Church Kirk.¹

Peggy's father was James Cunliffe and her mother was Ann Gibson. She had a brother and two sisters, named James, Ellen and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the four known children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named James, Alice and Mary.  She died at the age of 37 in 1841.  She was buried.

‌Peggy and Robinson were married in a religious ceremony on June 30th, 1823 in Accrington by minister Jn'o Hopwood and witnessed by Thomas Whitaker & Henry Lang.²
