James Cunliffe

James was born on October 27th, 1801 in Great Harwood and his baptism took place there on November 15th, 1801.¹

James' father was James Cunliffe and his mother was Ann Gibson. His maternal grandparents were Henry Gibson and Margaret (Peggy) Giles. He had three sisters named Peggy, Ellen and Mary. He was the oldest of the four known children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named James, Alice and Mary.
