Ellen Cunliffe

Ellen was born in 1836 in Accrington and her baptism took place on February 21st, 1836 in Church Kirk.¹

Ellen's father was James Cunliffe and her mother was Jenny (Jane) Chambers. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Ben, James, Robert, Henry, Nancy, Alice and Mary. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 25 in 1861.
