Henry Chadwick

Henry was born in September 1822 in Bolton and his baptism took place on November 3rd, 1822 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Henry's father was Robert Chadwick and his mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Mather.  His maternal grandparents were John Mather and Betty Edge. He had a brother and five sisters, named Robert, Margaret, Mary, Sarah, Sarah and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 48 in March 1871 in Bakewell.²

‌Henry and Frances were married in a religious ceremony on October 10th, 1853 in Bakewell.⁵   They had three sons and three daughters, named George, William, Charles, Sarah, Leah and Annie.  There are no more children.
