Maud's father was William Henry Buckley and her mother was Alice A Bradbury.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Buckley and Sarah Wild. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Taylor, Sarah, Bertha and Clara.  She was the youngest of the six known children.  She died at the age of 85 in 1975.
