Clara was born in 1886 in Utah (UT).1   Clara's father was John Brooks and her mother was Jane (Nancy) Booth.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Brooks and Margaret (Peggy) Holding; her maternal grandparents were John Booth and Ann Hulme (Holmes). She had two brothers and a sister, named James, John and Gertrude.  She was the third oldest of the four known children.  She died at the age of 55 in 1941.
