John Booth

John was born in 1807 in Bolton.¹

He died at the age of 63 in 1870 in Elton.²

Death Notes
- Probably died between 1861 and 1871. Was deceased when daughter Jane married in 1882. At the time she was living at 95 Bury Old Road.
  
  The death of John Booth at Bolton Q4 1871 aged 61 is unlikely as 3 yeard too young. The Death in 1870 at Bury is a better match.

- Possible (sueelainedavies & candsterry) DNA connection with BOOTH 20+ matches for Bolton, but only 4 HULME or HOLME.
  
  John seems to have lied about his and Ann's age. Ann is consistantly 10+ younger, but its not clear when either were born.
  
  1 Jan 1828, John Booth married Ann Holme at St Peter's, Bolton
  
  In 1841, John and Ann (44 and 30) are at Back James Street, Bolton with Thomas (13), Calvin (7), John (2) and James (6 mo)
  
  In 1851, John and Ann (43 & 42) are at 174 Spring Gardens, West Bolton with Thomas (22), Calvin (16), John (14), James (10), Mary Ann (7), Alice (5) and George (2).
  
  In 1861, John a carter and Ann (54 & 42) were at 14 Howell Croft. They had Calvin (24), Mary Ann (18), Alice (16), George (13) and Jane (10).
