Michael Blackburn

Michael was born on July 20th, 1794 in Berry Brow and his baptism took place on August 24th, 1794 in Almondbury.¹

Michael's father was Matthew Blackburn and his mother was Ann Oldfield. His paternal grandparents were Michael Blackburn and Hannah Scover. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Hannah, Sarah and Ann. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 49 on May 4th, 1844 in Berry Brow. His burial was on May 7th, 1844 in Almondbury.²²
