Thomas Beswick 
Thomas was born in 1830 in Tonge-with-Haulgh. Thomas' father was James Beswick and his mother was Alice Booth. His maternal grandparents were Richard Booth and Catherine Whalley. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Thomas, Nancy, Nancy, Mary and Alice. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 1 in 1831 in Tonge-with-Haulgh.-
