John Bennett

John was born in 1761 in Wepre and his baptism took place on March 23rd, 1761 in Northop.¹

John's father was Edward Bennett and his mother was Elizabeth Piercy. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Benjamin, Jonathan, John, Nathaniel, Mary, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 16 in September 1777 in Wepre. His burial was on September 24th, 1777 in Northop.¹
