Florence was born on August 14th, 1876 in St Georges, Hanover Square, London.  Florence's father was Charles Walter Bedding and her mother was Jane Sarah Rosser.  Her paternal grandparents were Mathew Edward Bedding and Dinah Malverne or Melvin; her maternal grandparents were William Rosser and Mary. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Walter, Fred, Charles, Arthur, Albert, Percy, Gertrude and Ethel.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 3 in 1879.
