Charles was born on November 23rd, 1883 in Marylebone, Middlesex.1 Charles' father was Charles Walter Bedding and his mother was Jane Sarah Rosser. His paternal grandparents were Mathew Edward Bedding and Dinah Malverne or Melvin; his maternal grandparents were William Rosser and Mary. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Walter, Fred, Arthur, Albert, Percy, Gertrude, Florence and Ethel. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 in March 1953 in Croydon, Surrey.2 Death Notes
