Margaret Jane Bateman

Margaret was born in March 1868 in Bolton.¹

Margaret's father was George Bateman and her mother was Elizabeth Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Joshua Mather and Elizabeth Kay. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Joshua, John, Elizabeth and Maria. She was the third oldest of the six children.
