Samuel Atkinson

Samuel was born on October 21st, 1663 in Birkrigg Park.¹

Samuel's father was Robert Atkinson and his mother was Agnes Storey.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Atkinson and Agnes; his maternal grandparents were Robert Storey and Isabel Mitchell. He had three brothers and three sisters, named David, Amos, Emmanuel, Agnes, Hannah and Rachel.  He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Joseph and Margaret.  He died at 3 months old in January 1664 in Birkrigg Park.  He was buried on January 10th, 1664 in Preston-Patrick.¹
