Rachel was born on April 22nd, 1668 in Birkrigg Park.¹

Rachel's father was Robert Atkinson and her mother was Agnes Storey.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Atkinson and Agnes; her maternal grandparents were Robert Storey and Isabel Mitchell. She had four brothers and two sisters, named David, Amos, Samuel, Emmanuel, Agnes and Hannah.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Joseph and Margaret.  She died at just 7 days old on April 29th, 1668 in Birkrigg Park.¹
