James Aspinall

James was born in 1837 in Little Bolton. James' father was William Aspinall and his mother was Selina Mather. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Hannah Mather. He had a sister named Anne. He was the older of the two children.

General Notes
- In 1851, James was 14, so born a few years before his parents married. He may therefore be from a previous marriage of William Aspinall, or an adopted nephew.
  
  His sister Ann was baptised in 1842, but not James.
