Note: Benjamin Jewett Senior and his wife, Reform Trescott, lived in Ipswich, Massachusetts, where he was killed at a house raising by a falling log. He died just less than two weeks before his son, Benjamin Jr. was born. Administration on his estate was granted to his brother, Nehemiah Jewett, Jr. Benjamin was buried in the Old Burial Grounds Cemetery in Rowley.
