Anson Eugene Giddings 
Anson was born on December 25th, 1839.1 Anson's father was Anson Jones Giddings and his mother was Sarah S. Spelman. His paternal grandparents were Elisha Giddings and Philothea Fish. He had a brother and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Lucian, Sarah and Addison. He died at the age of 26 on July 30th, 1866 in Portage City, Columbia Co., WI.1 General Notes
Civil War Soldier.
He died, unmarried, of disease contracted during the Civil War. He was captured near McMinville, TN on Dec. 7, 1862, held at Richmond, VA. and parolled Jan. 27, 1863.
