Arthur's father was Fred Dupree (Dupra) and his mother was Aline   Vive Lamour.  His maternal grandparents were John Vivelamour and Julia Marois (King).  Joseph Dupree (Dupré) and Mary were his grandparents through his father's adoption. He had six brothers and a sister, named Fred, Henry, Herbert, Noah, Augustus, Levi and Pearl.  He was the youngest of the eight known children.  He died at the age of 89 on June 22nd, 1999 in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York.  He was buried at the Assumption Cemetery and Mausoleum, Syracuse, New York.^1 1
