Shakhar was born on April 11th, 1996 in Israel. Shakhar's father is Rabbi Yaacov Baruch CHEKOTAI and his mother is Rivkah YOSEF-OVADIA. His paternal grandparents are Shimon and Leah; his maternal grandparents were Rabbi Ovadia Abdalla YOSEF and Margalit FATTAL. He has four brothers and a sister, named Lior, Adi, Yishai, Ron and Marganit. He is the youngest of the six children.
