Adi was born on May 3rd, 1983 in Israel. Adi's father is Rabbi Yaacov Baruch CHEKOTAI and his mother is Rivkah YOSEF-OVADIA. His paternal grandparents are Shimon and Leah; his maternal grandparents were Rabbi Ovadia Abdalla YOSEF and Margalit FATTAL. He has four brothers and a sister, named Lior, Yishai, Ron, Shakhar and Marganit. He is the second oldest of the six children.
