Child's father was Thomas E. Bicknell III and his/her mother was Mary Mathuson. His/her paternal grandparents were Samuel Bicknell and Anne Parks. He/she is the youngest of fourteen children. He/she had three brothers and nine sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Martin, Samuel, Johnathon, Malinda, Nancy, Elizabeth, Mary Polly, Roda, Barbara, Margarette, Jane, Charlotte and Child. He/she had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Thomas E., William Kelly, Harrison, Sylvester W., Sarah, Sabinda Taborida, Mahala Jane, Lydia and Melinda Emaline.
