Dora was born on March 24th, 1837 in Westendorp.1  Dora's father was Hendrik Jansen and her mother was Dersken (Derse) Bussink.  Her paternal grandparents were Hendrik Jan Jansen and Enneken Jolink; her maternal grandparents were Lammert Bussink and Garritijen Heusinkveld. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Lammert, Gerrit, Derk Willem, Jan, Everdina, Grada, Hendrika and Aleida.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 2 on August 22nd, 1839 in Westendorp (Oude IJsselstreek).1
