Lula Caroline Bracken (Ashworth) 
Lula was born on May 24th, 1876 in North Carolina. Lula's father was James Bracken and her mother was Clarissa Jane Batson (Bracken). Her paternal grandparents were James Bracken and Charlotte Hamlin (Bracken). She had four brothers and a sister, named William, James, Hilliard, Montraville and Deniza. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 81 on June 25th, 1957 in North Carolina. She was buried at the Gillespie Evergreen Cemetery.-
