James Edward Bracken 
James was born on July 5th, 1879. James' father was James Bracken and his mother was Clarissa Jane Batson (Bracken). His paternal grandparents were James Bracken and Charlotte Hamlin (Bracken). He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Hilliard, Montraville, Deniza and Lula. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 49 on May 27th, 1929. He was buried at the Catheys Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.-
