Deniza Bracken (Shannon) 
Deniza was born on February 7th, 1870 in North Carolina. Deniza's father was James Bracken and her mother was Clarissa Jane Batson (Bracken). Her paternal grandparents were James Bracken and Charlotte Hamlin (Bracken). She had four brothers and a sister, named William, James, Hilliard, Montraville and Lula. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 82 on March 15th, 1952. She was buried at the Elkins Cemetery.-
