Hilliard Bracken 
Hilliard was born about 1883 in North Carolina. Hilliard's father was James Bracken and his mother was Clarissa Jane Batson (Bracken). His paternal grandparents were James Bracken and Charlotte Hamlin (Bracken). He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Montraville, Deniza and Lula. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died on February 24th, 1956. He was buried at the Catheys Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.-
