Edward SKEWES

Edward was born on August 31st, 1865 in Gawler, SA.¹   Edward's father was James Michael SKEWES and his mother was Helen Maria BRADY.  His paternal grandparents were John SKEWES and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Samuel BRADY and <Unknown>. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Michael, John, Horace, Jenkin, Albert, Sydney, Emily, Eva, Theresa, Annie and Helen.  He was the oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 78 on September 29th, 1943 in Williamstown, SA.²
